ASL operates a suite of Gas Atomisers with 1800t per annum capacity. 

Producing powders from less than 10 µm to particles up to 250 µm. The powders are used in many diverse fields including:
    
    MIM
    AM/3D printing
    Laser Sintering 
    Brazing, 
    Thermal Spray 

ASL is a specialist in the production of stainless steel powders, although its production expertise does not stop there, with a considerable number of low alloy and Ni based alloys in the portfolio.
The in-house designed atomisers, equipped with ASL’s proprietary Anti-Satellite and Hot Gas systems, produce high yields of MIM and or AM powders, enabling ASL to continue to serve its ever-expanding AM and MIM customer base.

ASL’s Anti –satellite system and Hot Gas technology allows the production of free-flowing high quality gas atomised powders. The flow properties that provide beneficial properties in the AM and MIM applications also offer outstanding performance in thermal spray and brazing applications.
